This event was organised as part of #EUinMYRegion, a European Union-wide campaign that encourages citizens to discover European projects near them. CERTH-ITI, as one of the BADGER consortium partners, presented the vision, the main objectives and the desired future impact of the project that is to improve the quality of life of citizens by automating civil and environmental applications reducing traffic congestion and pollution of urban environments and by replacing human workers on hazardous jobs such as mining, quarrying and search & rescue. The presentation raised increased interest, which culminated in an open discussion that answered several questions about the numerous potential uses of the project, as well as potential implementation challenges and how they could be resolved.
